Abstract

This study examines the natural resource potential of underwater landscapes of the coastal zone of Middle Primorye and one of its most important components the biomass of valuable species of algae. The authors examine the bottom natural complexes (BNC) distribution of abrasion-accumulative bays underwater landscapes from the Bay of Nerpa to the Oprichnik Gulf and evaluate its environmental component on the basis of a complex physical-geographical analysis, giving a rough economic evaluation of algal component for the whole underwater landscape.
