The article reflecrs the result of the analysis of distribution of sown area by categories of Krasnodar region’s large-scale farms in the period of land reform, which shows, that the consolidation of farms is appropriate, and major land users of the region are the most effective. This study presents the scale of agricultural lands that were classified besed on their according to their agricultural suitability, that allows to form group land suitability. In the course of land evaluation works land appraisal districts were allocated, group of soils were established, soil rating points were adjusted. Are determined: the index that defines technological properties of soils, income on productivity and the estimated rental income according to the three districts of Krasnodar region, were analyzed the basic indicators for evaluating agricultural land. The influence of the quality of land on the effective function-ing of the organizations of agro-industrial complex of Kuban is proved.

В статье проведен анализ распределения посевной площади по категориям хозяйств Краснодарского края в период земельной реформы, который показал, что происходит укрупнение крестьянских (фермер-ских) хозяйств, и наиболее эффективными в условиях края являются крупные землепользователи. В ра-боте рассмотрена шкала классификации земель сельскохозяйственного назначения (сельскохозяйствен-ных угодий) по их пригодности для сельскохозяйственного использования, что позволило сформировать группы пригодности земель. В ходе земельно-оценочных работ были выделены земельно-оценочные рай-оны, установлены группы почв, скорректированы баллы бонитета, определены: индекс технологических свойств почв, доход по продуктивности и расчетный рентный доход по данным трех районов Краснодар-ского края, проанализированы базовые показатели по оценке земель сельскохозяйственного назначения. Доказано влияние качества земель на эффективное функционирование организаций агропромышленно-го комплекса Кубани.
