Abstract

The article explains the developmental potential of cultural and leisure practices as part of informal sector continuing education. Cultural and leisure activities are defined as a potent activator of adult motivation for inclusion in conscious educational activities. The author claims the movement from informal to formal education as the most organic way resumption of education in adulthood.
