
The article deals with the main features of teaching mathematics to foreign students using the English language as the language of international communication and the Russian language as the language of the host country. The creation of the program on “Mathematics” is analyzed with regard to the fact that trainees have different levels of initial knowledge in mathematics. Sometimes they don't speak English or the language of the host country. Statistical analysis of trainees’ structure is presented, as well as the initial level of their preparation and the most effective training strategy.
В статье рассматриваются особенности обучения математике иностранных студентов с использованием английского языка как языка международного общения и русского языка как языка страны пребывания. Анализируется создание программы по дисциплине «Математика» с учетом того, что обучаемые имеют различный исходный уровень знаний по математике и иногда не владеют английским языком или языком страны пребывания. Представлен статистический анализ состава обучаемых, исходного уровня их подготовки и обосновывается наиболее эффективная стратегия обучения.
