Abstract

The article analyses the activities of the teacher, educator E. K. Krichevskaya. The author for the first time identifies the problem of the existence of the second edition of "Lectures on Early Childhood Pedagogy" for nurse-educators, which Elena Konstantinovna had already prepared for printing in 1928. To date, no information about the publication of the second edition has been found. The information that this issue is ready and planned for printing was published by E. K. Krichevskaya herself on the pages of the first issue. In addition, she informed about the specific issues and problems to be addressed. The relevance of many of them can be witnessed even today. Also, the search for the issue, information about it, possible reasons for non-publication will help to eliminate gaps in the biography of E. K. Krichevskaya and, consequently, in the history of pedagogy and the history of childhood. The author analysed the publication activity of the educator from 1928 to 1930, established which books were printed for the first time, which were only reprinted. One fact of modern reprinting was identified (2018).Two possible reasons for the non-publication of the second issue have been suggested.
