MONRO DOCTRINE: INTERNAL CONDITIONS AND PREREQUISITES FOR ITS CREATION

ДОКТРИНА МОНРО: ВНУТРЕННИЕ УСЛОВИЯ И ПРЕДПОСЫЛКИ ДЛЯ ЕЕ СОЗДАНИЯ

Abstract

The subject of this article is the domestic political conditions and prerequisites for the adoption of the Monroe Doctrine - the largest foreign policy document of the United States in the nineteenth century. An analysis of the American economy of that period and the peculiarities of the American industrial revolution is made. Particular attention is paid to the logical interconnection of such phenomena as industrial revolution, plantation cotton slave economy, territorial expansion, expansionist ideology, which, in the end, resulted in the creation and adoption of the Monroe Doctrine.

Темой данной статьи является внутриполитические условия и предпосылки для принятии доктрины Монро – крупнейшего внешнеполитического документа США девятнадцатого века. Проводится анализ американской экономики того периода и особенностей американского промышленного переворота. Особое внимание уделяется логической взаимосвязи таких явлений, как промышленный переворот, плантационное хлопковое рабовладельческое хозяйство, территориальная экспансия, экспансионистская идеология, которые, в итоге, вылились в создание и принятие доктрины Монро.
