Educating the Botanic Gardens UrFU on Biodiversity Conservation

Abstract

The educational ecological center was organized in 2008 in the Botanical Garden of the Ural Federal University. The main purpose of this center is environmental education of the people of different age and social groups. The foundation of expositions with ornamental and rare species of local flora were created in the territories of kindergartens and schools by project «Environmental Education in the Ekaterinburg». The staff of the Botanical Garden organize consultations and seminars on the conservation of biological diversity.
