</script><< Objectives >>ECHOO seeks to empower health consumers, despite their age, role, and skills, by focusing on often-overlooked placebo/nocebo effects in treatment decisions, using high-impact pedagogies. It aims to 1) empower knowledge, making accessible and transferable evidence-based placebo/nocebo concepts; 2) embed knowledge within universities’ transversal competence catalogues; 3) spread knowledge, engaging the broader community to raise awareness, competences, and skills.<< Implementation >>ECHOO includes streamlining activities: management (internal meetings, progress monitoring, quality assessment, budget and risks control), implementation (drafting, translating and locally adapting educational materials, AI-based chatbot and MOOC development), piloting (MOOC implementation, summer school), recognition (joint microcredentials), civic engagement (symposium, theatre, awareness campaign, ECHOO days in clinics, podcast/video series) and dissemination (ECHOO meets) activities.<< Results >>The main ECHOO results will be: 1) Knowledge Multimedia Resources, including educational materials in English, and translated, locally adapted versions, and an interactive AI-based Chatbot. 2) a MOOC, implementing these resources in a short online course with micro-credentials, hosted on the UniBO Open Knowledge platform. 3) a Civic Engagement Toolkit, consisting of scripts and guidelines to carry out civic engagement initiatives, spreading knowledge in public and clinical settings.
