The UK's first national agroforestry conference was held on Thursday 22nd June at Cranfield University and organised by the Woodland Trust, Royal Forestry Society and Soil Association. It was a sell-out event of 250 attendees including farmers, foresters, landowners and researchers who joined together to explore the benefits and practicalities of bringing more trees onto farmland, and taking farming into forests. This article from The Organic Grower magazine reports on the conference.
