Abstract

In educational institutions of all levels, in order to promote student learning and lead to up-gradation of overall system of education, the teaching-learning methods and materials are regarded as the key. The educators are required to make use of these in an effective manner in order to achieve desired goals and objectives. With advancements taking place and with the advent of modernization and globalization, the educators are required to make use of different types of modern, scientific and innovative methods and materials. Understanding the concepts will be facilitating in generating desired outcomes. The educators need to be well-prepared. They need to possess adequate information in terms of their job duties and methodologies that are necessary to carry these out in a well-ordered manner. Hence, the students need to ensure they acquire an efficient understanding of the instructions that are given to them by educators. As a consequence, they will contribute efficiently in meeting the expectations of educators. Hence, in all grade levels, the educators and students are required to augment information in terms of different types of teaching-learning methods and materials. In order to be successful, the possession of these will be facilitating in carrying out all types of job duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner. Therefore, teaching-learning methods and materials are considered indispensable in achievement of educational goals. The main concepts that are taken into account in this research paper are, understanding teaching-learning methods, understanding teaching-learning materials and advantages of utilizing teaching-learning methods and materials.
