Abstract

No presente trabalho realizado segundo a metodologia DOE, uma ferramenta da qualidade utilizada na realização de experiências eficientes produziram-se amostras e provetes de tração no laboratório da Recauchutagem Nortenha SA. Com a realização de ensaios de dureza e tração no laboratório da Universidade de Minho, do Departamento de Engenharia de Polímeros em Guimarães e de Resiliência em ambiente industrial pretende-se compreender o efeito das várias variáveis a estudar nas propriedades do Aglomerado de Borracha. O Software Design of Experiments permitiu a interpretação dos resultados e a experiência de confirmação era para valores de deformação máximos, valores mínimos de dureza, valores mínimos de resiliência e de dureza (aglomerado mais macio), no entanto alguns problemas surgiram no desenvolvimento deste estudo. Os objetivos finais deste trabalho são : 1) Avaliação do efeito dos vários parâmetros nas propriedades do aglomerado de borracha produzido como por exemplo a quantidade de cola, a proporção água/isocianato, o tempo de cura e a temperatura de cura ; 2) Determinação da formulação e das condições de produção que conduzem às propriedades ótimas do Aglomerado.
