RESTORATION OF WETLANDS TO MINIMISE EMISSIONS AND MAXIMISE CARBON UPTAKE A STRATEGY FOR LONG TERM CLIMATE MITIGATION In Open lab 2 (Austria) monitoring activities will be conducted to quantify if the restored site acts as a possible carbon sink. Eddy covariance (EC) measurements are an important component of the project.
