Abstract

Türkiye ve dünyadaki kütüphaneler, müzeler ile özel kurum ve şahısların koleksiyonlarında yer alan Ku’ân-ı Kerim’lerin tezyinatı, Türk İslam uygarlığıyla diğer uygarlıkların, kültür ve sanat çevrelerini yakından ilgilendirmesi bakımından oldukça önemlidir. Yazmaların araştırılması ve incelenmesi konusu son yıllarda önem kazanmasına rağmen yine de çalışmalarda arzu edilen ilerleme sağlanamamıştır. İlk dönemlerde Mushaf yazımı öncelik olduğu için tezyinata çok fazla önem verilmemiştir. Mushaf’lardaki bezemenin ilk olarak ne zaman yapılmaya başlandığı bilinmemekle birlikte, Hz. Peygamber’in vefatını takip eden ilk yüzyıl içinde ortaya çıktığı tahmin edilmektedir (Baysal, 2013). Mushaf tezyinatı, Müslüman sanatçılar tarafından her zaman şaheser olarak görülmüş olup, özellikle Timur ve Safevi dönemlerinde olduğu gibi Osmanlı klasik dönem tezhip sanatı ile mükemmel seviyeye ulaşmıştır. Klasik Osmanlı Mushaf tezyinatında zahriye sayfası, serlevha, hatime sayfası, sûre başlıkları, ayet aralarındaki duraklar, metin kenarlarındaki güller bezemeli alanlardır. Bu bezemeli alanlar bazı eserlerde yakın benzerlik içerisindedir. Bu çalışmada, Kastamonu Şeyh Şab’an-ı Veli Vakıf Müzesi’ndeki Kur’ân-ı Kerim’le tezyinat anlayışı bakımından benzer özelliklere sahip olduğu düşünülen Süleymaniye Yazma Eser Kütüphanesi’ndeki Kuran-ı Kerim karşılaştırmalı olarak değerlendirilecektir.
