Cómo afecta el estrés en el desempeño del estudiante trabajador

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio es describir como el estrés influye en el rendimiento académico del estudiante trabajador, detectar las diferentes estrategias que desarrolla en la búsqueda de soluciones que aligeren sus preocupaciones y el desarrollo de la tolerancia a la frustración. Corresponde a un estudio descriptivo transversal aplicado a (85) estudiantes trabajadores chilenos seleccionado a conveniencia de las ciudades de chillan, San Carlos, Coihueco, Santiago y Yungay conducidos en servicios de educación superior del año 2020. El total de la población investigada corresponde un (62,2%) a mujeres, (31,8%) a hombres, lo cual del total de los alumnos señala haber presentado un grado de estrés durante el semestre, un (74,1%) señalo un estrés modero académico existiendo una diferencia de género presentado las mujeres el mayor porcentaje de estrés versus hombres.

The objective of this study is to describe how stress influences the academic performance of working students, detect the different strategies they develop in the search for solutions that alleviate their worries and the development of tolerance to frustration. It corresponds to a cross-sectional descriptive study applied to (85) Chilean working students selected at convenience from the cities of Chillán, San Carlos, Coihueco, Santiago and Yungay conducted in higher education services in 2020. The total population investigated corresponds to (62.2%) to women, (31.8%) to men, which of the total number of students indicated that they had presented a degree of stress during the semester, one (74.1%) indicated moderate academic stress, with a difference in gender presented women the highest percentage of stress versus men.
