World: Fiji (Dana 1852), Gulf of Mexico (Felder & Camp 2009), Caribbean Sea, (Miloslavich et al. 2010), India (Nayar 1959). India: South India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Nayar 1959, 1966 as Maera quadrimana Dana, 1853; Sivaprakasam 1966 as Maera quadrimana Dana, 1853; Sivaprakasam 1968a as Maera quadrimana Dana, 1853); Eastern India Ecoregion: Tamil Nadu (Nayar 1959 as Maera quadrimana Dana, 1853; Sivaprakasam 1966 as Maera quadrimana Dana, 1853; Sivaprakasam 1968a as Maera quadrimana Dana, 1853; Venkataraman 2007 as Maera quadrimana Dana, 1853); Northern Bay of Bengal Ecoregion: Bay of Bengal (Surya Rao 1972 as Maera quadrimana Dana, 1853).
