The Norwegian Scientific Committee for Food Safety (VKM) has been requested by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority (NFSA) to conduct a risk assessment of Turex 50 WP as biological control product. Turex 50 WG is a new product containing the new active substance/organism Bacillus thuringiensis ssp. aizawai GC-91. The intended use is as an insecticide in a wide range of crops. In this regard, NFSA has requested VKM to conduct a health and environmental risk assessment of Turex 50 WG.
