Abstract: Interdisciplinary integration is considered as a process of mutual coordination of educational disciplines from the point of view of single, continuous and integrated development of professional activity. In terms of competence formation, interdisciplinary integration becomes a logical basis for self-development for a future specialist. This article reveals the main features of interdisciplinary interaction in the educational process, the conditions for the successful implementation of interdisciplinary integration in the educational practice of universities.
