Microhydropower is a promising alternative energy source that produces electricity in remote areas, separated from the main power grid. This research paper presents the technical and economic analysis of the practical design of the AYuD channel. As a research object, Qibray district of Tashkent region is designed for an irrigation system receiving water from Boz-suv canal.The intended AYuD channel was selected. Gravity hydroelectric power plant is a new modern green technology as an alternative or renewable energy source. The advantage of this method of electricity generation is that it is possible to generate electricity at low pressure, starting from 0.7 meters of pressure.
