This deliverable reports on the activities undertaken to advance mapping strategies for food intake data and the relevant learnings from these. Given the variance in levels at which dietary intake data can be collected, the mapping activities for these data took two separate approaches: mapping at a food level for data collected using 24-hour recalls or diet diaries and mapping across food groups for data collected using food frequency questionnaires (FFQs).
