This article focuses on analyzing and reconstructing the historical period stretching from the beginning of the Civil War in Spain (1936) until today, of the convent of Poor Clares of Villaviciosa, in that it is the historical period of their evolution less studied, pretending to make an overall study that provides the historical reconstruction of this stage of the convent of the Purest Conception and serve as a new contribution to the knowledge of the history of the Order of Saint Francis and their different branches in Asturias.
