Exploring topics surrounding migration in Austrian historical newspapers. Topic modelling of historical newspapers

This contribution deals with Dynamic Topic Modelling of Austrian historical newspapers (found in the ANNO Corpus), focusing on the time period from the 18th to the mid-20th Century. The aim of the investigation is to uncover the development of the topic surrounding migration from and via Southeast Europe to Austria.
