Abstract

Mycotretus dimidiatus Crotch, 1876 Mycotretus dimidiatus Crotch, 1876: 444 [nec Taschenberg, 1870]. Type locality: “Ega” [= Tefé, in the state of Amazonas, Brazil]. Mycotretus dimidiatus – Harold 1876: 174. — Alvarenga 1994: 35. — Skelley 1998b: 16. Remarks Mycotretus dimidiatus Crotch, 1876 is a junior homonym of M. dimidiatus Taschenberg, 1870. Harold (1876: 174) proposed M. seminiger as a replacement name (see below).
