This article focuses on the analysis of the admission of new religious and demographic status of the benedictine monastery of San Benito de Sevilla (in the transition from the modern era to contemporary times), through transcription and use of the information contained in demographic report was sent to the benedictine monastery of San Vicente of Oviedo and, at present, is preserved in the Archives of the Monastery of San Pelayo of Oviedo. This document was sent to the community of San Vicente de Oviedo to know the situation of the community in the context of the process of exclaustration. It is further intended that this article will serve as a new contribution to the knowledge of the history of the benedictine community of Saint Benedict of Seville.
