Digital Education is the need of the hour. Digital Education is comprises with other digital means or combination of other modes of education viz. Online Education, E-Learning, ICT in Education. Digital Education and E-Learning both are close but there are some differences in Digital Education and E-Learning in-terms of periphery, scope, applications, audience, technologies and formats. Uses and applications of ICT in Education, Teaching and Research in simple context is called as E-Learning. Digital Education is the digitalization of education and here educational programs, training and learning materials are offered in digital mediums. Online Education whereas mostly focuses on offering education, training, and classes mostly directly via live classes. Online Education is the need of the hour and being practiced in the institutions, organizations and companies in large scale. Digital Educational initiative by the Government (both state and central) in India is eye-catching in recent past, and as far as private players are concerned few popular are Byjus, Khan Academy, Unacademy, Simplilearn, NIIT, Vedantu, Gradeup, Exelsoft, etc. This chapter is focused on Digital and Learning Initiatives of private players in India.
