Abstract

Dit is de digitale versie van het boek ‘Ommetjes door het parkinsonbrein. Een boek vol tips van lotgenoten om denkobstakels te herkennen, bespreken en omzeilen’, ISBN 978-90-9035849-9, bedoeld als open access (inkijk)exemplaar. De werking van de digitale versie is niet onderzocht Omschrijving van de gedrukte versie: Ommetjes door het parkinsonbrein is een zelfhulpboek voor en door mensen met parkinson en hun naasten. Met dit boek willen we mensen in staat stellen de obstakels in het denken die hen het meest in de weg zitten te benoemen, discussies faciliteren over een relatief onzichtbaar onderwerp, mensen inspireren de omwegen van hun lotgenoten uit te proberen, informeren en bewustwording stimuleren. De denkobstakels en omwegen zijn opgehaald als onderdeel van een wetenschappelijk onderzoek: De COPIED studie. COPIED staat symbool voor van elkaar leren door elkaar te kopiëren. Het boek is ontworpen als fysiek exemplaar, van pizzadoosformaat, bedoeld om op je gemak door te bladeren, om open te laten liggen op een bladzijde die jou aanspreekt, om te bespreken met de mensen die je lief hebt, om mee te nemen naar je zorgverlener, om te laten slingeren en dan te kijken wat er gebeurt als anderen het zien liggen. Het is bovenal bedoeld om denkobstakels bij parkinson zo zichtbaar te maken dat de onzichtbaarheid ervan geen obstakel op zich meer is. Het boek is hier te bestellen.
