Environmental Education can be developed in the school context as an integrated, continuous and permanent educational practice. In this sense, the objective of this research was to analyze the data presented by the participating teachers about the difficulties when working with Environmental Education in the different subjects of the school curriculum. The qualitative methodology was used in the case study format. The research was carried out with teachers from the state public education network in the city of Curitiba, Paraná. An intercession was made with the teachers through a transit so that the challenges and difficulties in incorporating Environmental Education in the school context could be highlighted. It was concluded from this study that it is necessary to rethink and plan the transversal themes in the school curriculum, as well as the promotion of continuing education to overcome challenges regarding Environmental Education in the school context.
