Abstract

The European project ROADMAP fosters transitions towards prudent antimicrobial use (AMU) in animal production. ROADMAP sets up innovative approaches within a transdisciplinary and multi-actor perspective to engage with animal health professionals, stakeholders and policy-makers. It analyses the socio-economic drivers of AMU, develops tailored strategies for change and proposes transition scenarios in diverse farm animal production systems in Europe and low and middle-income countries. On the 31st of May 2023, the ROADMAP project ended, the key results of the research towards prudent AMU have been bundled in the ROADMAP result booklet.
