The concept of socio-economic security and the factors that influence such a process have been studied. Analyzing the range of threats to social and economic security, the problems of competitiveness of the national economy are indicated. The key tasks of innovative development are proposed, which are related to the formation of citizens' competencies of innovative activity, which will ensure the socio-economic security of the state.
