Recent public policies aimed at reducing the use of antimicrobials in animal production have been successful when measured by the quantity of antimicrobial use, as usage has decreased in all production sectors. However, the key factors for the success of these policies and their socio-economic effects are poorly known. A qualitative survey conducted among the actors of the pig production unveils them.
