This is the data and R-code for reproducing the results in the article 'An observational study on the adherence to study registrations in German interventional and observational studies from various fields' by C. Thiele and G. Hirschfeld. The data in man_quality represents ratings of registration quality and adherence scores (whether a publication is in line with its registration). Details on the rating procedure can be found in the before-mentioned article and in: Thiele, Christian, and Gerrit Hirschfeld. 2022. “Registration Quality and Availability of Publications for Clinical Trials in Germany and the Influence of Structural Factors.” PLOS ONE 17 (5): e0267883. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0267883. The R script will read in the RData file, but we have included the same data in CSV format for easier accessibility. Note that some columns are list-columns in R, meaning that a single cell of the table contains multiple entries that are separated by, e.g., a semicolon. Codebook.txt contains descriptions of the variables that are included in man_quality.
Version 3 has an updated reproduction.R to incorporate revisions that have been made to the article.
