Abstract: This descriptive research was conducted to determine the adversity quotient of the students in Bachelor of Science in Maritime Information Technology (BSMIT) at John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Molo, Inc. Respondents of the study were the ninety-five (95) out of one hundred twenty-six (126) or 75.40 percent BSMIT students enrolled during the first semester of school year 2008-2009. A modified standardized instrument, Adversity Quotient questionnaire was used in this study. Results showed that regardless of the grouping, students had “Below Average” adversity quotient.
