We present an open-access dataset of reproductive phenology, containing information on 10 phenological stages of 57 woody plants, comprising around 32,000 records from 1963 to 2008 in eastern China. As the observation of phenological stages in CPON is incomplete, we applied Richards equation with the contraction-expansion algorithm and necessary quality control to reconstruct phenological sequences. Information related to site (i.e., latitude, longitude, ecosystem, temperature, and precipitation), species (i.e., species Latin name, plant category), and reproductive phenology is contained in this database. This database is unique in the integrity and continuity of plant reproductive phenological sequences, and it’s helpful to strike out important but neglected direction in phenology.
