This is the accompanying code and dataset for the publication "A low-carbon electricity sector in Europe risks sustaining regional inequalities in benefits and vulnerabilities". It includes all code and data that is required to reproduce all figures of this publication. How to install the required packages to this code Download and unzip all files of "Supplementary_Software.zip" Navigate with your Terminal to the folder "Code" within the unzipped files Install Anaconda: https://docs.anaconda.com/anaconda/install/mac-os/ Install the required packages either with Conda or Pip: conda env create -f environment.yml pip install -r requirements.txt Overview of code and data Item Description Supplementary_Software.ipynb Jupyter notebook to produce all figures of the publication. Takes the two files "geometry.csv" and "Source Data.xlsx" as an input and stores all figures in the "Figures" folder requirements.txt Requirements file to install required software to run the code via PIP (see installation instructions above) environment.yml Environment file to install required software to run the code via CONDA (see installation instructions above) Source Data.xlsx All input data that is required to reproduce all figures of the publication (except for geometry file, which is stored separately, see below) geometry.csv CSV file containing all geospatial information of NUTS2 regions (name, geometry, connected grid node)
