This study was conducted to investigate and understand the cultural factors that may be the reason why Filipinos are fond to watching Korean Drama (KDrama) despite the difference in the cultural orientation of the viewer and the materials watched. In this study, the cultural factors in the fascination of Filipinos to KDrama are answered. It is a descriptive-qualitative method employing a content analysis design to elicit various Korean factors and its similarities in Filipino culture from the three KDramas – Endless Love: Autumn in My Heart, Full House, and Descendants of the Sun. A thematic analysis was used to organize and interpret the data obtained from the content analysis. Based on the analysis conducted by the researchers, it appears that the themes and fashion, of the Korean KDrama have a big factor in the Filipino"s attraction to KDrama. Based on the data obtained, the researchers concluded that KDrama contains cultural factors that are closely similar and relatable to the Filipino viewers that explain why KDrama is fully accepted, loved, and enjoyed in the Philippines. Researchers therefore recommend to use KDrama in academic discussions through meaningful cultural exploration and integrating a multicultural orientation in order for the present generation to have greater knowledge and appreciation about its cultural relevance in the society
