During the study, the seeds (2015) of valuable forage plant Medicago sativa L. sowing clover were exposed to radioactive irradiation byCo VP-120) in the range of 1-300 Gy. The irradiated seeds were germinated İn the laboratory tor 72 hours, planted on the experimental field under Absheron conditions. The initial stages of ontogeny were observed. The results showed that small and relatively large doses (1-300 Gy) inhibit and stimulate the development of the plant This manifests itself in the quantitative changes of the investigated parameters and opens up possibilities for new researches
