The Geological Survey of New South Wales (GSNSW) has a vertically integrated workflow for delivering geophysical data and products. Raw geophysical data are acquired through regional scale, statewide and national surveys, laboratory measurements, and the harvesting of industry data submitted with annual exploration licence reports. These data are compiled, quality assured for delivery, primarily via the GSNSW web based application, MinView. GSNSW geoscientists subsequently synthesise these data into a range of products including statewide merges, structural interpretations, 2D and 3D geophysical models, and ultimately 3D geological models.
