A citizen science success story - BioMARató 2021: noteworthy results

Abstract

This infographic summarises the results of the first edition of the BioMARató-Beaches with life, one of the most significant citizen science and marine observations events in Catalonia. BioMARató 2021 was coordinated by the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM) together with the Cos4Cloud project, the company Anèl·lides, serveis ambientals marins, the environmental association Xatrac, and two diving centers: Oceánicos, and Plàncton Diving and the Calonge and Sant Antoni city council, which seeks to promote conservation and awareness of the marine ecosystem.
