Latvijas mūzikas samizdata / zīnu datu bāze [Latvian music samizdat / fanzine database]

Latvijas mūzikas samizdata / zīnu datu bāze [Latvian music samizdat / fanzine database]

Abstract

[ENG below] 2016.gada maijā māksliniece Maija Kurševa rīkoja Rīgas zīnu festivālu (http://rigazinefest.com), kurā pieteicos runāt par Latvijas mūzikas zīniem (sk. referātu “Latvijas (mūzikas) zīnu neuzrakstītā vēsture [Unwritten history of Latvian fanzines]”). Tad arī tajā virzienā sāku veikt kaut kādus sākumdarbus. Laiku pa laikam pie šī temata atgriežos un turpinu. Pagaidām par šo tematu esmu publicējis vienu akadēmisku rakstu (“Music samizdat as zines? The Case of ‘Ot Vinta’ from Soviet Latvia”, 2020) un vairākus ‘pelēkos’ un bloga ierakstus. Skati bibliogrāfiju zemāk. Zenodo.org (10.5281/zenodo.7643620) publicēju ‘Latvijas mūzikas samizdata / zīnu datu bāzi’ kāda tā izskatās uz šo brīdi. Darbu pie šī temata turpinu, tāpēc agrāk vai vēlāk parādīsies jaunākas un papildinātas datu bāzes versijas. Šo datu bāzi veidoju pamatā izmantojot trīs avotus: (1) personīgā mūzikas zīnu kolekcija, kas veidojās kopš 1990.gada; (2) drukātie un interneta avoti; (3) personīgā komunikācija ar zīnu izdevējiem. Būšu pateicīgs, ja komentēsi, labosi un papildināsi šo datu bāzi! Jānis Daugavietis, 2023.02.15., Garciems, Latvija // In May 2016, the artist Maija Kurševa organized the Riga zine festival (http://rigazinefest.com), where I applied to talk about Latvian music zines (see the report “Unwritten history of Latvian fanzines”). Then I started doing some initial work in that direction as well. I return to this topic from time to time and continue. So far, I have published one academic article (“Music samizdat as zines? The Case of 'Ot Vinta' from Soviet Latvia”, 2020) and several working/ grey papers on this topic. See bibliography below. On Zenodo.org (10.5281/zenodo.7643620), I published the ‘Latvian music samizdat / fanzine database’ as it looks at the moment. I continue to work on this topic, so sooner or later newer and updated versions of the database will appear. I created the database basically using three sources: (1) personal music zine collection, which was formed since 1990; (2) print and Internet sources; (3) personal communication with zine publishers. I will be grateful for comments, corrections and additions! Jānis Daugavietis, 2023.02.15, Garciems, Latvia BIBLIOGRĀFIJA // BIBLIOGRAPHY Daugavietis, J. (2020). Music samizdat as zines?
