Eugenia domingensis O. Berg, Linnaea

Abstract

Eugenia domingensis O.Berg, Linnaea 27: 296 (1856) This species was excluded due to the lack of testimonial information that indicates that it was collected in Mexican territory. Eugenia domingensis was cited by Bueno et al. (2005), in “Biodiversidad del Estado de Tabasco ”, referring to a specimen of the herbarium of the former and extinct National Institute for Forestry Investigations (INIF), which is not physically available, only through databases, not being possible to find the specimen for analysis and authenticity. Specimen cited:— MEXICO. Tabasco: Gonzalez & Pérez P-501 (INIF).
