DigiTala's questionnaire for upper-secondary language teachers on oral language skills

Abstract

The teacher questionnaire was conducted by the DigiTala project in the beginning of the year 2023. The questionnaire included follow-up items that have been used by the research team earlier and enable. The teachers got contacted through different mailing lists but a link to the questionnaire was also distributed through social media. In total 129 teachers answered the questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of 5 sections: the first concerned teachers' background information, in the second section the teachers were asked about their oral language assessment practices, in the third section teachers responded to items dealing with the future of oral language assessment, in the fourth section teachers were asked about the Digitala Moodle plugin while the last section concerned teachers' needs for further training. We thank the colleagues and teachers involved in testing and developing the questionnaire for their insightful comments
