Abstract

Objetivou- se avaliar os efeitos da silagem de milho aditivada com farelo de soja e ureia em diferentes estágios de maturidade sobre a estabilidade aeróbia. Foram avaliados quatro tratamentos: ensilagem de milho aos 60 dias com 15% de inclusão de farelo de soja; ensilagem de milho aos 60 dias com 2% de ureia; ensilagem de milho aos 90 dias com 15% de soja; ensilagem de milho aos 90 dias com 2% de ureia. Distribuídos em um delineamento inteiramente casualizados, os silos foram abertos após 90 dias de fermentação e as silagens avaliadas quanto a sua estabilidade aeróbia, pH e condutividade elétrica. O tratamento de ensilagem de milho aos 90 dias com 2% de ureia apresentou uma temperatura inicial de 24.80ºC (P<0,05), sendo maior que as demais silagens. O pH das silagens de milho colhido aos 60 dias e com adição de farelo de soja variou entre 3,92 a 7,12, o que pode indicar perda de estabilidade aeróbia. O período de colheita do milho a ser ensilado afeta o índice de condutividade elétrica e a temperatura de abertura das silagens de milho. A adição de farelo de soja às silagens de milho influenciou na velocidade da perda de estabilidade aeróbia das silagens, reduzindo a resistência das silagens à exposição aeróbia. A adição de ureia nas silagens promoveu maiores valores de pH pós abertura de silos e maior estabilidade aeróbia das silagens de milho.
