This presentation is part of the UF Research 2022 RCR Summer Seminar Series at the University of Florida. Safe Research Environments is an interactive presentation that delves into the aspects of DEI in the lab and group work for faculty, undergraduate and graduate students. EH&S also plays an integral role in safe research and is discussed here. Safe research environments exposes research integrity problems that may occur, and how to seek assistance on campus. Case studies provide the participants an exercise in ethical decision making, and ways to critically analyze a variety of situations.
The 2022 RCR Summer Seminar Series was supported by Award No. ORIIR210068 from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health (OASH). Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of OASH.
