In modern schools, leadership is not an individual but a team effort - shared e.g. distributed. Alongside the school principal, other people take on leadership responsibility for the learning of all students. But how can school leadership work shared or distributed as a team effort? Conceptual, research-based and practice-oriented contributions from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the English-speaking world present an overview of forms, approaches and open questions to the practitioners in schools, authorities and the scientific community.
