The article deals with the issue of forming the image of an educational organization. The definition of what an image is and its components is given. The study is conducted through consideration of such problems as the competitiveness of educational services. A large place in the work is occupied by the development and testing of a model for forming the image of an educational organization by the media. The paper proposes a system of developed events and coverage of events in the media to form the image of the institution.
