Tree-Ring Chronology of Eldar Pine in the South-Eastern Part of the Great Caucasus

Abstract

By using dendrochronological methods were studied the tree-ring chronology and features of forming of the early and late wood Pinus eldarica’s samples selected from the Shamakhi territory localized in southeasterm part of the Great Caucasus. The developed chronology make possible to study climatic and environmental conditions, antrophogenic, phytopathological, entomological influences, forest fires, etc
