Abstract

Lo storytelling accompagna la fruizione della piazza mercato in età tardoantica a cui rimanda parte più significativa delle strutture attualmente a vista. Per i sei punti di vista esterni, collocati nella stessa posizione della piazza di età romana, il racconto si sofferma sulle trasformazioni dello spazio e delle attività di questo che resta uno dei luoghi più affollati, scenario privilegiato per incontri e scambi nella nuova città legata al culto cristiano e all’influenza culturale e amministrativa del vescovo. Nei tre ambienti ricostruiti anche all’interno, il racconto per le viste e per gli hotspot degli oggetti 3D si sofferma sul diverso modo in cui queste botteghe erano vissute, una destinata a derrate e merci giunte nel porto ancora molto attivo e aperto a contatti con l’intero bacino del Mediterraneo, un’altra dedicata a vasellame di importazione e una specializzata nella vendita di merci contrassegnate da simboli legati al Cristianesimo, approfondite negli hotspot. La narrazione, in italiano e inglese, accompagna sia lo stato attuale sia la ricostruzione e può essere fruita in forma scritta e come audio dalla voce di attori professionisti che hanno registrato in studio
