It has been determined that the primer UMC2359, associated with productivity under fully irrigated conditions, is located on chromosome 9. And under drought stress the primers UMC2359, UMC1432, UMC1862 and UMC1719, associated with grain productivity are located on 9, 10, 1 and 4th chromosomes in accordance. The results obtained on the basis of SSR markers showed that UMC1862, UMC1719, PHI031, UMC1545, UMC2359 praymers were more useful to study genetic diversity. Markers UMC1862 (1.11), UMC1719 (4.10-4.11), UMC1447 (5.03), UMC2359 (9.07) and UMC1432 (10.02) are mostly located in chromosomal regions associated with drought-resistance in comparison with other markers. Thus, these SSR markers could be used in breeding of maize hybrids to increase the productivity of grain under drought stress conditions.
