The results of the comparative dendroecological investigation of the Foetid and Greek Juniper from Turyanchay State Reserve by using standard dedndrochonological methods were presented in the article. Radial, tangential and cross sections of wood were investigated for each species under the light microscope and the factors which affect the dynamics of the radial growth were revealed. The greatest impact of ecological factors affecting the growth of both species was established. The developed chronology is useful at the study of climatic and environmental conditions of territory, for revealing the anthropogenic factors, forest fires, establishment of phytopathological, entomological and other influences.
