BPASSv2.2.1 starter kit

Authors: Stevance, H.F.;

BPASSv2.2.1 starter kit

Abstract

This is a curated starter-kit that contains a subset of the full data in BPASSv2.2.1. For the full data release location visit the BPASS website. This dataset contains: `bpass-v2.2-newmodels.zip` : The full stellar library of BPASSv2.2.1 `bpass_v2.2.1_imf135_300.zip`: The fiducial model outputs (Kroupa IMF with a -2.35 slope and maximum mass 300Msol). `BPASS_man_v221.pdf`: The pdf of the BPASS manual written by Elizabeth Stanway (a version with a dyslexic friendly font can be found on the bpass website). The contents and architecture of the BPASS stellar library and model outputs are unchanged from the core data release (consult manual and tutorials or reach out to a member of the team). Hoki Code If you are a python user the most convenient way to use (and learn) the BPASS data (outputs and/or stellar library) is through the hoki package. See the GitHub page for installation instructions and the Hoki/tutorials for jupyter notebook recipes. Citing BPASS and Hoki If you use BPASS and hoki (code and/or tutorials) please cite the following three publications: BPASSv2.2.1: Eldridge et al. 2017 and Stanway et al. 2018 | hoki: Stevance et al. 2022 Contact us: If you have any questions regarding this data set email hfstevance@gmail.com or create an issue on the GitHub repo HeloiseS/hoki
