Abstract

A Policy Brief about the domestic implementation and policy and market impacts of the transnational Forest Law Enforcement, Governance, and Trade (FLEGT) policy framework in Europe (EU, UK), non-EU countries (USA, Australia, China) and Indonesia and other tropical countries. The Policy Brief also describes the new policy changes as regards the development of new Deforestation Regulations in the EU, UK and the USA, and discusses their policy and market impacts on tropical producer and consumer countries.
